Where reasonable and practicable, we prefer to collect personal information directly from the individual concerned.
6. ANONYMOUS AND PSEUDONYMOUS USE
You may generally browse public parts of our website without creating an account.
You may also contact us without providing unnecessary information.
However, it may not be practical to use some functions anonymously.
For example, an account normally requires identification sufficient to:
authenticate the user;
save designs;
manage subscriptions;
maintain account security;

calculate electrical loads;
estimate solar generation;
calculate battery requirements;
assess charging capability;
evaluate inverter demand;
perform compatibility checks;
calculate thermal loads;
simulate energy behaviour;
and produce PASS, CHECK or FAIL engineering results.
These processes are intended to evaluate an RV electrical design or technical system.
They are not intended to make decisions about an individual's:
employment;
creditworthiness;
insurance;
healthcare;
legal status;
or similar personal rights.
The engineering results remain decision-support information and should be interpreted in accordance with the Terms of Service.
If we introduce automated processing of personal information that could reasonably be expected to significantly affect an individual's rights or interests, we will review and update this Privacy Policy and any required notices.
9. SAVED DESIGNS
RV Solar + Battery Designer is designed around saved projects.
Information associated with a saved design may include:

and design history.
Saved designs remain associated with the relevant account unless deleted, transferred or otherwise managed according to available account functionality and this Privacy Policy.
10. WHAT HAPPENS TO SAVED DESIGNS AFTER CANCELLATION?
Ending a paid subscription does not necessarily cause saved designs to be immediately deleted.
As described in our Terms of Service, an account may become read-only after a subscription ends.
This allows saved projects to remain available if the account is later reactivated.
A user may request deletion of personal information or account information as described below.
Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legitimate purposes.
11. COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATORS
Commercial plans may allow multiple people to use RV Solar + Battery Designer under one business or organisation.
Depending on the plan and permissions, authorised business administrators may be able to:

If you use RV Solar + Battery Designer through an employer, supplier, manufacturer, dealership or other organisation, information associated with the organisation's projects may be accessible to authorised administrators of that organisation.
Users should not assume that information entered into an organisation-owned project is private from authorised administrators of that organisation.
12. CUSTOMER INFORMATION ENTERED BY COMMERCIAL USERS
Commercial users may enter personal information relating to their own customers.
The commercial user is responsible for:
collecting that information lawfully;
providing any privacy notice required for their relationship with the customer;
ensuring the information is relevant to the project;
ensuring they are authorised to use the information;
and managing any customer-facing disclosure or report.
We use such information to provide the services requested through the commercial account.

These technologies may be used for:
login and authentication;
security;
session management;
remembering preferences;
website functionality;
performance monitoring;
analytics;
and understanding how the service is used.
Some technologies are essential for the service to operate.

Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working correctly.
16. ANALYTICS
We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics and Wix analytics functionality.
Analytics information may help us understand:
how many people use the website;
which pages are useful;
how visitors navigate the site;
whether users return;

Where subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, that provider may collect information necessary to process the transaction.
This may include:
cardholder name;
payment-card details;
billing address;
transaction information;
and fraud-prevention information.
Payment providers operate under their own privacy and security practices.

Information may remain temporarily in secure backups after deletion from active systems until those backups are overwritten or otherwise removed through normal backup processes.
25. ACCOUNT CLOSURE AND DELETION REQUESTS
You may ask us to close your account or delete personal information we hold about you.
We will assess requests in accordance with:
applicable law;
technical requirements;
security obligations;
billing requirements;
legal record-keeping requirements;
existing disputes;
and legitimate requirements to protect the service and other users.
Before deleting an account, we may need to verify the identity of the person making the request.
Deletion of an organisation user does not necessarily require deletion of legitimate business project records belonging to the organisation.
Where appropriate, those records may remain associated with the organisation rather than the former user.
26. ACCESSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You may request access to personal information we hold about you.
We may need to verify your identity before providing access.
In some circumstances permitted by law, access may be limited or refused.
If access cannot be provided, we will explain the reason where required.
27. CORRECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION
We want the personal information we hold to be accurate, complete and current.

Availability of an export function does not necessarily mean every category of internal platform data can be exported in raw database form.
You may contact us regarding reasonable requests for access to personal information associated with your account.
29. DATA BREACHES
We maintain processes for responding to suspected security incidents and data breaches.
If we become aware of a breach involving personal information, we may:
investigate the incident;
take steps to contain it;
take remedial action;
assess the potential impact;
and notify affected individuals or regulators where required by applicable law.
Where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies and an eligible data breach is likely to result in serious harm, notification will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements.
30. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
Our website or application may contain links to:
manufacturers;
