The free Dazza Project Brief tool helps you describe what you want to build in plain English. Tell us about the problem, who the solution is for, what you would like it to do and anything else you already know. The brief helps organise that information into a clearer starting point for the project.

How it works

Open the free Project Brief tool and work through the questions at your own pace.

There’s no need to know anything about coding, software architecture or technical terminology. Just explain the idea the way you would explain it to another person.

 

Once the brief is submitted, I can review the idea, identify the main requirements and work out the most practical next step. What happens after you submit? I’ll review the brief to understand:

          • the problem you are trying to solve
          • who will use the solution
          • the main features you need
          • anything that may need more investigation
          • the simplest sensible way to approach the build

 

From there, you’ll receive a response outlining the recommended next steps.

The Project Brief is free to use and there is no obligation to proceed with a build.
